"March of WWII Heroes"
Once again, hundreds of Girl and Boy Scouts in New York City, San Diego and Silicon Valley formed Spirit of '45 entries in their local Veterans Day Parades.
A national campaign is now underway to encourage similar entires in Veterans Day parades in other cities across America next year to commemorate the 75th Anniversary of the end of WWII in 1945.

Spirit of '45 helps celebrate 100th Anniversary of New York's Veterans Day Parade
New York once again kicked off the national campaign to encourage young people to march with photos of WWII veterans from their families and communities, in their local Veterans Day Parades.
This year's Spirit of '45 contingent was led by Girl Scouts under the leadership of Linda Shudy Lecomente, who were supported by several Boy Scout troops, several as young as 6 years old - a truly grassroots movement to preserve and honor the legacy of service of America's Greatest Generation.
Thanks again to Seward Johnson Atlelier and U-Haul for providing the Spirit of '45 Day "float" featuring the famous "Times Square Kiss" of August 14, 1945.
